I am Varun Gopal, a PhD student in Chemical Engineering at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. My research focus is at the intersection of data analysis/machine learning and molecular simulations. For more information on my background and research, please visit the About page.

The primary purpose of this website is a way for me to record my notes on various aspects of data science and machine learning that are relevant to my research. To do so, I have created posts associated with mini-projects that I am working on. I hope that these posts can be useful to other chemical engineers who are getting started in the same field.
